St David’s Club Site is ideal for walkers – just a mile from the Heritage Coast. This is classic Welsh coastal country, with beautiful scenery, historic buildings, traditional crafts and amazing sunsets.
The city of St David’s – Britain’s smallest city – is five miles away. Its cathedral has been a place of pilgrimage since the Middle Ages. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park surrounds the Site. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path has breathtaking scenery and a superb array of flora and fauna. Take a boat trip to the RSPB reserve at Ramsey Island. The Puffin Shuttle and Celtic Coaster bus services travel up the coast. Campers can catch the bus from outside the Site. Spend time on a Pembrokeshire sheep farm at Pembrokeshire Sheepdogs at Berea. Solva Woollen Mills is one of the original Welsh Mills. Buy a traditional rug or commission your own. The ferry to Ireland goes from Pembroke to Rosslare. Whitesands beach is ideal for surfing and launching boats. It is just below St David’s Head. Whale and dolphin watching boat trips leave from St Justinian. The county town of Haverfordwest is dominated by its castle. It has good shopping facilities. There are several places to eat within walking distance of the Site.
All pitches are sloping, therefore chocks/wheel levelling devices will be needed. Fishing is available one mile from the site. This site has poor TV reception and no mobile phone reception. - Other facilities
